- We collect your email when you sign in, the trip details you put in a planning request, the places you save to My Flex Trip (stored in your browser on your device), usage analytics (described below), and chat messages if you message us in the chat widget β each is described below.
- We share data only with the services that run this site (listed below) and with affiliate partners when you click through to book with them.

Who operates FlexTravellers
FlexTravellers is operated by FlexTravellers (by ZerviaDigital) (βFlexTravellersβ, βweβ). Privacy contact: hello@flextravellers.com. We are accountable for the personal information described below and for the service providers who process it for us.
What we collect
Account: your email address, used for passwordless sign-in (magic links and Google sign-in). Planning requests: the destination, dates, traveller count, name, email and notes you enter on the Get planning help page. Saved places: the place names you save to My Flex Trip β stored in your browser's local storage on your device, not on our servers; they leave your device only if you use the share button, which puts them in a share link you send. Chat: if you message us in the chat widget, that conversation is processed by our chat provider (below). Payments: we sell nothing on this site and take no payments, so we collect no payment card details β you book and pay partners on their own sites, under their own privacy policies. Usage: We use Mixpanel for usage analytics (no advertising profiles, IP addresses disabled). Events describe which pages and features are used; we do not send the words you search for to Mixpanel. Mixpanel stores an identifier in your browser to count repeat visits.
Who processes it
Supabase provides our sign-in and database β your account and planning requests are stored there. Mixpanel provides usage analytics (no advertising profiles). Tidio powers the chat widget β its script loads on every page before you message us; if you message us there, Tidio processes that conversation. GetYourGuide widget scripts and the Travelpayouts Drive script also load on every page before you click any partner link, so those services can make requests when the page loads, not only after a click. Resend sends our emails (sign-in links and request confirmations). Supabase, Mixpanel, Tidio and Resend may process information outside Canada. No payment processor is used on this site, because we sell nothing here β partners process your payment on their own sites when you book with them.
Affiliate partners & cookies
FlexTravellers is an affiliate/connector, not a travel seller. The partner names below are the partners we MAY link to β naming one here is not a promise that it is shown as a card on every page: a card appears only when a tracked link for that partner has been generated for this build; otherwise no card or link for that partner is shown, and no commission claim is made for it. When you click a partner link β Viator, GetYourGuide, Trip.com, Expedia, Travelpayouts / Aviasales, CruiseDirect (via CJ Affiliate), DiscoverCars, Kiwitaxi, Welcome Pickups, Airalo, Saily, Localrent, or a Travelpayouts-routed partner such as Klook, Kiwi.com, Tiqets, WeGoTrip, Go City, Economybookings or QEEQ β that partner may set a cookie so your booking is attributed to us and we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partner links SHOWN as cards on this site are tracked affiliate links (see the qualification at the start of this section). We do not show untracked partner links as if they were tracked. Once you are on a partner site, that partner's privacy policy applies to your booking and payment. We also use cookies/local storage on our own site to remember your currency, your saved trip and your sign-in.
You can opt out of affiliate cookies by blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by not clicking a partner link β blocking cookies may mean a booking is not attributed to us, but it does not change the price a partner charges you. When you search flights here, the search sent to Travelpayouts carries only origin, destination and dates; your adult count is used to build the Aviasales booking link, not sent as a search parameter. No name, email or payment details are sent with that flight search β a partner may ask for its own details when you book with it.
How long we keep it
Planning requests are deleted 90 days after the trip date in the request passes, or sooner if you ask us to delete them β whichever comes first. Requests with no trip date are deleted on request, and are reviewed manually.
Security & breach notice
If a breach of your personal information ever occurs, we will notify affected users and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required under PIPEDA.
Your choices
Email hello@flextravellers.com to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to close your account. We aim to reply within 1 business day and complete deletion requests promptly. Saved places are stored in this browser on this device and do not sync to your account. Remove them in My Flex Trip, or sign out β signing out wipes this device's saved data. Signing in on another device, or signing back in here, does not restore them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. This policy is written in plain English by the FlexTravellers team.
